Set across 126 acres of waterways, paddy fields, cultivated land and natural habitat, Kalundewa Retreat offers a rare sense of space and privacy, with only eight chalets comprising nine rooms. The chalets are positioned across different parts of the estate, allowing guests to experience its lakes, waterways, paddy fields and views of Kalundewa Rock from within the landscape. Located approximately 10 minutes from Dambulla and 30 minutes from Sigiriya, Kalundewa Retreat offers a private base for exploring Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.
Now under the ownership of the Biomed Group, Kalundewa Retreat is undergoing a carefully phased refurbishment program toits existing accommodation and facilities, while preserving the character and natural setting of the retreat.
